I watched Milanese heading to work in the morning from my window — it felt authentic rather than touristy. The Quadrilatero della Moda is right there if you’re into serious shopping, and honestly, some of the city’s best aperitivo spots are within a few blocks. Plus, being near Università Statale means there’s this nice energy from students and professors mixed in with the business crowd.

Daily Rhythms

Mornings here have this lovely rhythm — you can grab excellent coffee from the café downstairs or venture out to one of several stellar bars nearby (Bar Centrale is my pick, just around the corner). The staff actually knows the neighborhood and will point you toward places that aren’t in every guidebook. I mean, they steered me to this tiny restaurant called Osteria del Borgo that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of my best meals in Milan.

  The location of the apartment is just outstanding. It’s just 7-10 min walk from Duomo. It was equipped with everything you need for a short trip.

  Communicative and very friendly host; the flat is located in a great spot in Milan and just a 10 minutes walk away from the cathedrale; right next to the entrance of the flat there is a very tasty bakery/bar!

  What could be improved: Velmi tvrdá potel, chyběl nám ostrý nůž a bylo by fajn, kdyby tam byl kávovar. Ale hned dole v baráku je skvělá kavárna takže s tím problém nebyl.
