Vico Fashion District Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Vico Fashion District, you immediately get that Milan vibe — clean lines, muted colors, and everything just so. It’s tucked away on Via Vivaio, which honestly took me a minute to find the first time, but that’s part of its charm. This four-star spot feels more like a boutique hotel than your typical business traveler crash pad.
Location & Neighborhood
The location is actually perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without the chaos. You’re in Milan‘s city center, but on a quieter street that locals use as a shortcut. I mean, you can walk to the Quadrilatero della Moda in about ten minutes — that’s Milan’s golden rectangle of fashion boutiques. The subway’s close too, so getting to the Duomo or catching a train is no hassle at all.
The Room
My room was compact but smartly designed, which seems to be the Milan way of doing things. The bed was comfortable enough, and I appreciated the blackout curtains — crucial when you’re dealing with jet lag. The bathroom was modern with good water pressure, though don’t expect a lot of counter space for spreading out your stuff. There’s decent storage though, and the air conditioning works well during those sticky summer months.
Amenities & Service
The staff here genuinely seems to care, which you don’t always get at mid-range hotels. They helped me figure out the best route to a restaurant I’d been wanting to try, and even called ahead to check if they had space. There’s no fancy spa or anything like that, but you do get reliable WiFi and they’ll help arrange transportation. The breakfast is continental style — nothing groundbreaking, but solid coffee and fresh pastries.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about Vico Fashion District is that it gets Milan right. You’re not paying for over-the-top amenities you probably won’t use, but you’re getting a clean, comfortable base in exactly the right spot. The 7.9 rating makes sense — it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what matters. If you’re here to explore the fashion district, hit up some galleries, or just soak up the city, this place puts you right where you need to be without breaking the bank.

Reviews of Vico Fashion District
Lovely place for a night in busy city but it is like an old country yard – Kim from Italy – 25 May 2025 (8/10)
The location and place are just fantastic! Even though it is located at the center but Vico Fashion District is the residential area. It is very old building which I could feel in antique era.
What could be improved: Nothing particularly negativeGreat stay in comfortable room! – Alice from United Kingdom – 20 April 2025 (8/10)
The hotel was in a lovely building and was very cleaning and comfortable, especially the bed! Good size for a few days, and the bathroom was very nice. Great location, very central and easy to get around. It felt very safe getting back late at night too.
What could be improved: There was some issues with hot water. It didn’t always work well and wasn’t very hot. Also the rain shower had quite bad pressure but I think this was because the building is oldGreat stay – Ying from United Kingdom – 15 April 2025 (9/10)
Clean, comfortable and cosy room. Helpful staff, had a really pleasant stay.
Very good stay – Daniele from Germany – 18 March 2025 (8/10)

What could be improved: very smallGood – Joaquim from Mozambique – 15 January 2025 (7/10)
The bedroom and bathroom cleaning
What could be improved: The bad internet connectionPerfect location for your stay in Milan suitable for business or pleasure. – Hemangini from United Kingdom – 7 December 2024 (9/10)
Great location. One of the elegant areas of Milan with liberty architecture. It’s quiet but close to the main tourist or business areas.
What could be improved: None. It is a shame however that the refurbishment did not reflect the soul of the building and style but that probably would not be compatible with business requirements:)Perfect location for a stay in Milan. – Melissa from United States – 24 November 2024 (8/10)
It was in a great location. Loved to be able to walk everywhere
What could be improved: The coffee machine was broken and they only gave us one new towel a day for two people. We managed and enjoined every moment in Italy.Very good – Maree from Australia – 13 August 2024 (8/10)
Staff were always helpful. We checked in later at night and the instructions left for us to check in to our room were very clear and made the process easy for us. Comfy Bed, little terrace, cold water provided and large shower/bathroom. Full length mirror was great and coffee machine in room. We loved that we could watch Netflix
What could be improved: We had a little problem with wi-fi at first but that was fixed once we mentioned it. We felt there were no restaurants close by, many places were closed.
