Here’s the thing about Via Vitruvio — it’s in Stazione Centrale, which might sound intimidating if you don’t know Milan, but it’s actually brilliant. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Milano Centrale station, which means you can dump your bags and be in the city center on the metro in fifteen minutes. The neighborhood itself is sort of transitional — not the glossy Quadrilatero della Moda, but real Milan with decent cafes and that authentic buzz you want.

The Apartment Experience

Each apartment feels like someone’s actual home, not a cookie-cutter hotel room. The kitchenette is small but functional — I mean, you can actually cook pasta if you want (and in Milan, why wouldn’t you?). The space is smart, with high ceilings that make everything feel bigger than it is. What I loved most was the separate living area — after long days of walking around the city, having somewhere to properly sprawl out made all the difference.

Practical Comforts

The building has this lovely old Milan character — think early 20th century architecture that’s been thoughtfully updated. Air conditioning works well (crucial in summer), and the Wi-Fi is solid throughout. There’s a small restaurant on the ground floor, but honestly, with that kitchen in your unit and Milan’s incredible food scene right outside, you’ll probably want to explore. Parking is available, though in this part of town, you’re better off using public transport anyway.

Look, Vitruvio Palace isn’t trying to be the flashiest place in Milan — it’s trying to be the most liveable, and it succeeds. The staff actually remembers your name after day two, the apartments give you space to breathe, and the location means you’re connected to everything without being in the middle of tourist chaos. For the price point, especially compared to what you’d pay closer to the Duomo, it’s honestly a smart choice for anyone who wants to experience Milan like a temporary resident rather than just another visitor.

  · Spacious, Clean, and Well-Equipped: The apartment is exactly as described – clean, spacious, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
  · Excellent Security: The entrance and exit feel very safe and secure, which is always a priority.
  · Convenient Parking: The availability of free street parking was a major plus and very convenient.
  · Responsive and Helpful Owner: The owner was very kind and personally came to help with the sofa bed, which was much appreciated.
  
  What could be improved: Areas for Improvement (Suggestions for the Owner):
  
  · The Sofa Bed: The main issue was the sofa bed. It was quite difficult to convert, to the point that the owner had to come and open it himself. Replacing it with a more user-friendly model would greatly improve the experience for guests.
  · Water Temperature in Master Bathroom: The water heater works well, but the hot water in the master bedroom's shower runs out surprisingly quickly. This made showers less comfortable than they could have been.
  · Toilet Setup: The toilet has a bidet (pedeah), but I would highly recommend installing a hose/sprayer. Many travelers find this to be a more versatile and familiar hygiene feature.

  Very spacious! Great location!
  Would have stayed here forever! Very comfortable and fully equipped apartment! Small lift but does the job done. Great view!
  
  What could be improved: The shower overflowed a bit. The heating was a bit hard to understand but got it at the end. Hardest bit was the entrance of the home the first time. After that, everything gets easy.

  Apartment was within walking distance from Milano centrale metro station. Instructions were easy to follow and apartment was modern, spacious with high end finishing, equipped kitchen and basic toiletries provided. Host was quite responsive/helpful with enquiries during our stay

  This apartment was exceptional!! The showers were larger than most european showers and very hot. The finishes were very nice. The sleeper sofa and other beds were comfortable. The apartment was quiet and in a great location. Very close to the metro (M3). There was a grocery store, not even a block away, and plenty of restaurants around. It was about a 45-minute walk to the Duomo, but you could take the metro and be there very fast. We are a familly of 4 and this apartment worked perfect for us. You will not regret booking here!
