Wellbeing Overview

First Impressions

When I first stepped into Wellbeing, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name — but it actually makes perfect sense once you’re inside. This four-star hotel sits right on Ripa di Porta Ticinese, and there’s something immediately calming about the whole place. The lobby feels more like a modern wellness retreat than your typical city hotel, with clean lines and this subtle, almost zen-like atmosphere that sets the tone for everything else.

Prime Navigli Location

You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally in the heart of Navigli, which means the famous canals are right at your doorstep. I mean, step outside and you’re already surrounded by the aperitivo bars and canal-side restaurants that make this neighborhood so special. Milan‘s nightlife hub is basically your backyard, but here’s the thing — the hotel itself stays surprisingly quiet despite all the action outside. It’s like they’ve created this peaceful bubble in one of the city’s most vibrant areas.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was refreshingly uncluttered — sort of minimalist but not cold, if that makes sense. Everything felt thoughtfully designed with wellness in mind, from the lighting (which actually helps you sleep better) to the surprisingly comfortable bedding. The bathrooms are pretty impressive too, with this rain shower that honestly made me want to extend my stay just for the morning routine. Small details, but they add up to something that feels genuinely restorative.

Food and Amenities

The restaurant downstairs focuses on healthy, locally-sourced dishes — which sounds trendy but actually tastes great. I wasn’t expecting much from hotel food, but their breakfast spread includes some really fresh options alongside the usual suspects. They’ve also got this compact spa area that’s perfect for unwinding after walking around Milan all day. Nothing over-the-top, just solid facilities that actually deliver on that “wellbeing” promise.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets Wellbeing apart is how it balances location with tranquility — you get all the energy of Navigli without sacrificing sleep or sanity. The staff seems genuinely invested in making sure you feel recharged, not just accommodated. Plus, with parking available (which is honestly a miracle in this part of Milan), it removes one major city hassle. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but for travelers who want to explore Milan’s best neighborhood while actually getting some rest, this place just works.

Reviews of Wellbeing

  • Superb – Dean from United Kingdom – 6 September 2025 (9/10)

Marco was a very good communicator and very pleasant. The location of his apartment is excellent, in the heart of the vibrant canal restaurant and bar area.

What could be improved: The initial car drive to the area had issues due to the area being very busy. But Marco helped with the directions and car parking.

  • Perfekt location, nice flat – Steinar from Norway – 5 May 2025 (8/10)

    Perfekt location

  • We really enjoyed our journey the local was accessible you can reach all restaurants and monuments by walking. – Mohammed from Morocco – 26 December 2024 (9/10)

Kitchen and bad was very clean

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Nice well furnished flat with great location – Catherine from United Kingdom – 25 August 2024 (7/10)

Very comfortable beds, great location right by canal but far enough back to not get much noise, good kitchen and good to have washing machine.

What could be improved: Had a daily invasion of ants in to sitting area. Would benefit on clearer explanation of tourist tax so we could be better prepared (message in advance said per adult and as our booking was 2 adults, 2 children (17 and 14), assumed it was only 36€ but tax applies to anyone over 10, so we had to make a dash out to cash machine to get more money). Some areas a little tired (eg in shower room, some damage to walls).

  • Good location! Accommodating host who let us in to drop bags whilst we waited for check in time. – Pren from Netherlands – 31 July 2024 (8/10)

What could be improved: Check in time was quite late at 4pm – would suggest check in times from 2pm

  • Superb – Viananeagu from Austria – 29 March 2024 (9/10)

A large, clean, fairly well-maintained apartment with a good centralized air conditioning system. Although the location is in the well-known area Naviglio Grande of Milan, known for its restaurants and bars, so with a rather noisy and busy night life, the apartment is positioned to be in a quiet atmosphere. Easy to take and leave the apartment key.

  • Fabulous accommodation, we really enjoyed our stay. – Lisa from United Kingdom – 21 August 2023 (9/10)

A beautiful apartment, if a fabulous location.

  • Very good – Caroline from United Kingdom – 15 August 2023 (8/10)

Spacious apartment in a great location.

What could be improved: The facilities for the property are advertised as including an indoor swimming pool. However, it actually has a large jacuzzi, not a swimming pool. This is a bit misleading.

  • Unique apartment in great location – Maryol from Ireland – 27 March 2023 (8/10)

The property is in a really great location. The property itself has a lot of extras and we loved the apartment and courtyard. We enjoyed our stay and it served our needs very well.

What could be improved: A lovely property in need of some TLC. Cleaning and items broken require attention. But overall we had a lovely stay..

  • Unusual and attractive apartment – Alistairspenceclarke from Spain – 25 March 2023 (9/10)

Location right next to the canals next to vibrant bars and restaurants, but apartment is tucked away so no noise or disturbance. Spacious and very well equipped with some nice stylish touches. Comfortable for 4.

What could be improved: It's on the third floor with no lift so best not to have heavy luggage! To be fair it's an old traditional building and you wouldn't expect a lift so no problem if you know what to expect.
