I actually found myself exploring neighborhoods I might have skipped otherwise because getting around was so straightforward. Plus, there’s this great mix of business district energy during the day and relaxed residential vibes in the evening.

The Space Itself

The room — well, apartment really — surprised me with how thoughtfully it was set up. There’s actual kitchen space where you can make proper meals, not just reheat leftovers, which honestly saved me a ton on dining out. The colorful styling they mention works because it feels intentional rather than random; someone clearly put thought into making these spaces feel homey rather than sterile. The Wi-Fi is solid (tested it on several video calls), and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of your suitcase the entire time.

  The apartment was clean, in the kitchen there were different stuff: coffee, olive oil, paper towel, condiments. Very good Internet connection.
  
  What could be improved: Long distance from the central train station to the apartment. Lack of hot water in the apartment at our arrival even though we have asked the host few days before our arrival the boiler to be turned on. Also, hot water was limited due heating water system (boiler) for two persons.

  Staff super gentile!! Abbiamo avuto un problema con le chiavi e sono arrivati subito ad aiutarci. La camera è ben pulita e ha tutto quello che serve. Ci siamo fermati una notte sola, sebbene l'affaccio sia sul ballatoio, quindi di passaggio, non abbiamo percepito un rumore eccessivo. La zona merita, è perfetta per i locali e per i mezzi. Non per posteggiare! Check in e check-out in autonomia.

  Квартира находится в современном районе Милана, достаточно тихо, рядом жд вокзал Порта Гарибальди, фуд корты, супермаркет, до центрального жд вокзала 10-15 минут пешком, до дуомо 25-30 минут пешком, в квартире есть все самое необходимое

  The apartment does have the absolute minimum, but that is all.
  
  What could be improved: There were a few issues.
  
  The host did not meet us for check-in and instead sent a video directing us to a lockbox chained to a street sign to retrieve the keys. There was no introduction to the apartment.
  
  The hot water heater had been turned off when we arrived. We had a tight schedule and had to get straight to a business meeting, so we had to take an ice-cold shower because there wasn't time for the heater to warm up the tank. The host should turn on the water heater prior to the guest's arrival. Since the host didn't meet us it also took some time to figure out that the water heater was not on, then to turn it on, and then to understand if we had successfully turned it on or not.
  
  The bed comes with two (rather hard) pillows. We usually sleep with two pillows each. We asked the host if two more pillows could be provided but they refused to provide them. This was not an unreasonable request.
  
  The vent fan in the washroom is completely ineffective. Don't expect your towels to dry, for example.
  
  To sum it up, this does have a bed, a pillow, a washroom. But the host clearly does not prioritize or understand basic expectations like hot water and a comfortable sleeping arrangement.

  The apartment was at a great location, had everything we needed, the bed and pillows are very comfortable and it was perfectly clean. A/C was working perfect. The neighborhood was safe in the night as well. I would really recommend staying here. Getting into the property was managed by ourselves, it was easy and comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: It can be a bit noisy in the morning because you can hear people going up and down the stairs, but nothing else.
