Your nest in Milan – Via Cantoni Overview
First Impressions
Your nest in Milan – Via Cantoni sits in one of those neighborhoods that honestly feels more like living in Milan than just visiting it. When I first walked up Via Giovanni Cantoni, I was struck by how quiet it was — you’re in the City Life district, but there’s this residential calm that’s rare to find so close to everything. The building itself has that modern Italian elegance without being flashy about it.
Location & Neighborhood
City Life is where Milan shows off its contemporary side, and you’re right in the thick of it here. Those three famous skyscrapers — the Bosco Verticale, Palazzo Lombardia, and Torre Solaria — they’re practically your neighbors. What I really appreciate is how walkable everything is; the Tre Torri metro station is maybe a seven-minute stroll, which puts you anywhere in Milan within half an hour. The shopping district at Porta Nuova? That’s close enough for an evening walk.
The Space
This four-star place gets the apartment-style accommodation just right. Each unit feels like someone’s actual home — there’s a proper kitchen with everything you’d need if you want to hit the local markets and cook something up. The room layouts are smart; they’ve managed to fit everything in without making it feel cramped. I mean, you’ve got space to actually unpack and settle in, which makes a huge difference when you’re staying more than a couple nights.
What Sets It Apart
Here’s what I didn’t expect — the building has this rooftop area where you can see the city skyline, and honestly, it’s one of those spots where you end up lingering longer than planned. The staff here actually seem to know the neighborhood; they’ll point you toward that little restaurant around the corner that doesn’t look like much but serves incredible risotto. There’s also parking available, which — if you know Milan — is basically gold.
Why Guests Love It
People keep coming back because it strikes this balance between being independent and having support when you need it. You’re not dealing with hotel breakfast schedules or tiny mini-fridges, but you’ve still got someone to call if the WiFi acts up. The 8.2 rating makes sense when you experience how everything just… works. Whether you’re here for business around Fiera Milano or just want to explore the city at your own pace, this place gets out of your way and lets you do Milan properly.

Reviews of Your nest in Milan – Via Cantoni
Good – Filippo from Norway – 17 November 2025 (7/10)
The keys' collection point is 10 min. from the central station of Milan (main station), hence it's convenient and easy to find. Just remember to clients that they need to walk back to the station to access main city's transports (tube, taxi, busses etc.).
What could be improved: The apartment is on a 3rd floor, which is fine for me because I can carry my luggage easily, but since there is no lift, it should be stated more clearly and promptly in the description.Sweet apartment in a cozy city center – Anastasia from Russia – 31 October 2025 (8/10)
The apartment turned out to be in a beautiful old building, located about 2–3 km from the city center. There are trams with convenient routes and a metro station nearby, but we mostly got around by tram or on foot.
The apartment itself is stylish and bright. In October, the heating was already on, so it was warm and comfortable. There is a full kitchen for cooking, the bedroom is cozy, the bed is comfortable, and there is a washing machine in the bathroom — which was perfect, since we had already been traveling for a week before arriving in Milan, so doing laundry was very helpful. There are also two balconies: a small one in the bedroom and a spacious one in the living room — it’s great for stepping outside to have breakfast, and there’s even a foldable table and chairs for that purpose.
The living room windows face the inner courtyard, and the bedroom windows face the street — but the street is so quiet that it doesn’t create any noise at night; our nights here were very peaceful.
Check-in took place in the evening, and we decided to pay an extra 15 euros to have someone meet us directly at the apartment and hand over the key, since we were tired from the trip. Otherwise, guests pick up the apartment key at the agency’s office near the main train station.
What could be improved: As in most old buildings in the city center, the hot water comes from a boiler, which means you can’t really take a long, relaxing hot shower after a long day, because the water gradually cools down, and the second person has to wait for the boiler to heat up again before taking a shower.
For those with joint or health issues — the apartment is on the 3rd (technically 4th) floor, and the staircases are long because of the high ceilings, and there is no elevator.Superb – Damjan from Croatia – 6 October 2025 (9/10)
Location is great, you have different Metros and tram inside the 10 minute walk. Also the city center is only 30 minute walk away. WiFi was working without any issues, bed is also decent enough. In addition, apartment is equiped with everything what would you possible need and the door lock is very secure.
What could be improved: Everything was in order except for the small issue with electricity where when the oven was working at the same time as boiler we would have lost electricity. But there is easy switch by which you can turn off the boiler when oven is working and you won't have any issues. Also the shower cabin is pretty small, which was not the issue for me personally but someone could have a hard time with that. Kitchen is also small, but I don't see the reason why it should be bigger. In case you don't want to pay extra 15-20 euros, you need to pick up keys close to the Central Bus/Train station, but as majority of people arrive to Milano via that place, I don't see the issue with that.Very good – Norma from Canada – 4 October 2025 (8/10)
This property is in a beautiful building with central courtyard. We were within walking distance of the Caderno train station and Duomo which was perfect.
The apt was quite spacious and we enjoyed all the terraces, especially the one looking out into the courtyard. The kitchen was well equipped and even had washing machine if needed.
There were grocery stores and cafes within a block or 2 which was super convenient.
What could be improved: We were unable to operate the stovetop the first night as it required instructions. Also, the wifi was unavailable the first day of our arrival, but this turned out to be a provider issue.
The host company was very responsive when I reported both of these issues.
We did have to pick the keys up at a second location (across town) prior to reaching the apt, or pay 15 Euro for them to meet us at the building during a scheduled time. Just something to be aware of if you are booking this property.Very good – Tinatin from Georgia – 19 October 2024 (8/10)
What could be improved: collect the key
Successful vacation in a good location in Milan. – Cristi from Romania – 27 August 2024 (9/10)
The location of the property is close to public transportation, with comfortable bed and perfect balcony where you can eat or enjoy a drink. Getting the apartment keys was easy and communication with the host was very OK through the Booking messenger.
What could be improved: A better equipped kitchen would have been desirable but we managed in the end. The lack of air conditioning is especially felt in the summer months.Good – Helen from Estonia – 2 May 2024 (7/10)
A very nice neighbourhood, a sweet balcony overlooking the courtyard, comfy bedroom.
What could be improved: The hosts didn’t provide any hand soap, toilet paper (well one roll), kitchen roll, coffee. The check-in wasn’t very convenient and the hosts sent way too many messages.Very good – Shelby from United States – 8 November 2023 (8/10)
The bed was comfy and the space was super clean. Also near multiple transportation option.
Nice – Beatriz from Spain – 27 August 2023 (8/10)
It was a nice apartment. Having a terrace was great and the bed was super comfortable.
What could be improved: It was a bit far from the center (half an hour walking fast) but very well communicated. Some things were dirty, like the coffee machine or the kettle; considering they charge quite a lot for cleaning I shouldn't have been scrubbing.A perfect weekend. – Helen from United Kingdom – 8 May 2023 (9/10)
Perfect location close to all we wanted, in particular to my daughter who lives in Milan.
What could be improved: Nothing not to like.
The only small criticism is the previous occupants washing up was left on the draining board.
