You’ve got authentic local cafes within walking distance, and the metro connection actually gets you to the Duomo faster than some of those overpriced hotels in Brera. I mean, sometimes you want to experience Milan like Milanese people do, you know?

My room was larger than I expected — Milan hotels aren’t exactly known for generous space, but this felt comfortable without being cramped. The design strikes this nice balance between modern functionality and Italian style. What really impressed me was how quiet everything was; you’d never guess you’re still in a major city. The bed was genuinely comfortable, and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly.

Breakfast was solid (nothing revolutionary, but fresh pastries and decent coffee, which is what matters). The hotel’s restaurant serves dinner too, though honestly, with so many great local spots nearby, I’d probably venture out most nights. There’s parking available, which is huge if you’re driving in Milan.

  The hotel was very nice, room was spacious and clean, the air conditioning was also very good and kept the room cool as it was very hot due to being summer. The staff were very friendly and kind, check in was quick and easy. The bed was big enough for a family of two adults and a child and was comfortable. It was around an hour away from the airport and about half an hour from the center so planning is essential to be on the correct trains. Otherwise stay was very good.
  
  What could be improved: Not so much an issue but we couldn't connect the TV and all the channels were in Italian so couldn't watch it. Also we were charged €42 in city tax for 3 nights which we weren't made aware of so next time being informed beforehand would be useful.

  Staff is very friendly. The hotel has a parking garage and is just 5min walk to the subway station, so you can reach the city center fast and conveniently. There are a few restaurants nearby
  
  What could be improved: Breakfast could be better. Also the hotel is not really accessible, there are a few steps right at the entrance so this might be an issue
