The Porta Garibaldi business district is right there too, so you’ll see plenty of suits rushing around during the week. Sure, it’s not the most charming neighborhood — more functional than romantic — but the metro connections are fantastic and you can be in the Duomo area in about fifteen minutes.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was… well, it was clean and functional. You know what I appreciated? The air conditioning actually worked properly (not always a given in older Milan hotels), and the Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay. The furnishings are a bit dated — think early 2000s business hotel vibes — but everything felt maintained. The shower had decent pressure, which after a long day of walking around Milan’s cobblestone streets, you’ll definitely appreciate.

Practical Perks

There’s a small breakfast spread in the mornings — nothing fancy, but they do proper Italian coffee and decent pastries. The staff at reception spoke good English and were actually helpful with restaurant recommendations, not just the usual tourist trap suggestions. Parking is available if you’re driving, though honestly, I’d skip the car in Milan altogether. The front desk can arrange airport transfers too, which saved me the hassle of figuring out public transport with luggage.

  Good location, close to the best cafe, a great supermarket, and amazing restaurant. Place was clean, staff accommodating, and quiet room. Bathroom was a bit small, which is to be expected. Would stay here again.
