My room was, well, exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star in Milan — clean, functional, and smaller than what Americans might be used to. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom had good water pressure, which you know matters when you’ve been walking around the city all day. Nothing fancy, but everything worked, and the Wi-Fi was actually reliable throughout my stay.

Getting Around

The Porta Vittoria metro station is maybe a seven-minute walk, and that connection honestly makes all the difference. You can get to Centrale station in about ten minutes if you’re catching trains to other cities, or hop over to Navigli for dinner without much fuss. Parking is available if you’re driving, though I mean — you’re in Milan, so I’m not sure why you’d want to deal with that stress.
