Here’s the thing about staying near Stazione Centrale — everyone warns you it’s “sketchy,” but honestly, it’s just busy. And busy means connected. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the main train station, which means day trips to Lake Como or quick hops to other Italian cities are ridiculously easy. Plus, Corso Buenos Aires is basically Milan’s version of Oxford Street — endless shopping if that’s your thing, and plenty of cafes where you can people-watch between metro rides.

The Room Experience

My room was smaller than what you’d get in an American chain hotel, but it worked perfectly fine for Milan. The bed was actually comfortable (I mean, really comfortable), and they’d clearly updated the bathrooms recently. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during my July visit — and trust me, Milan in summer is no joke. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stayed at night, considering you’re on one of the city’s busiest shopping streets.

Practical Perks

The breakfast situation is solid — nothing fancy, but they do a proper continental spread with decent coffee (important in Italy, obviously). There’s a small restaurant attached, though I only ate there once since you’re surrounded by amazing local spots. The staff spoke good English and actually gave helpful recommendations rather than just pointing you toward tourist traps. Parking is available if you’re driving, but honestly, you won’t need a car in this part of Milan.

Look, this isn’t going to be the most Instagram-worthy hotel you’ve ever stayed in. But it delivers exactly what you need for exploring Milan — a clean, comfortable base with genuinely helpful staff and a location that puts you right in the action. The value is solid for a four-star in Milan, especially considering how expensive this city can get. I’d definitely stay here again, particularly if I was planning to do serious shopping or needed easy train access for day trips.

  We have stayed at the property before and is close to Milano Céntrale and also within walking distance of the Duomo and lots of restaurants nearby

  Super great location along Corso Bueno Aires to enjoy a shopping frenzie😉 with plenty of reataurants and eateries around. It's also just few stops in metro to Duomo Fashion District (if you're after the luxury brands) from Lima Station just outside hotel. Roons are very well appointed with nice modern touch ..liked the welcome drinks in the room fridge👌..Great reception and restaurant and room & service staff all very helpful.
  Overall very positive experience for our 1st Best Western and will definitely go back to their properties.
  
  What could be improved: Corso has busy trafic until late and you might hear the horns and some loud engines if you're a light sleeper but it didnt bother us with a higher floor room. All double or fanily rooms seem to be road facing while single rooms are on the inisde row.
