Casa da Suite Arena Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Casa da Suite Arena on Via Antonio Rosmini, you immediately get the sense this place knows what it’s doing. It’s not flashy or trying too hard — just a solid four-star property that feels right at home in the Sempione district. The entrance has this understated elegance that made me think, okay, these people actually care about details.
The Sempione Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re genuinely in one of Milan‘s best neighborhoods without paying those crazy Duomo prices. Sempione puts you walking distance from Parco Sempione (hence the name), and honestly, having that green space right there changes everything about your morning routine. The Castello Sforzesco is basically around the corner, and you can actually stroll to Brera for dinner without dealing with metro crowds.
Couples seem to get this — they’re rating the location over 9 out of 10, which makes total sense when you experience it yourself. The neighborhood truly offers an exceptional balance of accessibility and authentic Milan living.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had this smart, contemporary design that didn’t feel sterile. You know how some hotels go overboard with minimalism and forget about comfort? Not here. The bed was genuinely comfortable, and the bathroom had enough space to actually move around — something you can’t take for granted in Milan. What struck me most was the attention to lighting; they’d clearly thought about how the space would feel at different times of day.
Neighborhood Life
One thing that surprised me was how residential the area feels while still being incredibly well-connected. There’s this great little restaurant scene developing in Sempione that locals are just starting to discover. You’re close enough to walk to the fashion district when you want that Milan energy, but you come home to tree-lined streets that actually quiet down at night. The metro connections are solid too — Moscova station gets you anywhere you need to go without the tourist chaos of the center.
Why Guests Love It
I think what really works about Casa da Suite Arena is that it doesn’t oversell itself. It’s a well-run, thoughtfully designed place that happens to be in an excellent location. The staff seemed to know the neighborhood genuinely well — not just the obvious tourist spots, but where to grab good coffee or find a decent pharmacy.
For the price point, you’re getting quality without the pretension, and in Milan, that balance is harder to find than you’d think. The fact that it consistently scores well with couples tells you something about the atmosphere — it’s got that relaxed sophistication that makes you want to linger over breakfast instead of rushing out to tick off sightseeing boxes.

Reviews of Casa da Suite Arena
Nice place, but disappointing experience overall – Eva from Slovakia – 30 October 2025 (7/10)
The apartment is very nice and spacious, with a great location just a few minutes from Parco Sempione. The design is also very pretty, and it was a nice touch that they left a bottle of water and a coffee capsule for free.
What could be improved: The customer service could definitely be improved. It took a long time to get replies through Booking.com messages, and no one answered my calls, only late at night when it didn’t seem busy. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all during our stay, despite trying several times and with different devices.
The booking was originally for three people, and I paid extra to add a fourth guest, but when we arrived, the sofa bed wasn’t prepared. I had to look around for the bed linen and make it myself, which was disappointing considering we paid for four people.
The window in the room doesn’t close properly at the top, and when you open it, there’s a risk it could fall. The bathroom door also needs some maintenance.
Finally, there was confusion about the check-out time. The website stated check-out was until 11 a.m., but during check-in we were told it was only until 10 a.m. I called customer service to clarify, but they said 11 a.m. wasn’t possible, even though that’s the time shown onlineVery good apartment – Emilija from Serbia – 2 July 2025 (9/10)
Everything was good, apartment looks good. Beds are comfortable and you have everything you need. The AC works great. Close to metro and tram station.
What could be improved: Communication with the staff was a little bit difficult, because we couldn’t reach them through booking app. But they called us to see when will we check in and they waited us in front of the building . It would be much easier with key boxes than waiting for the person to let us in the apartment.Exceptional – Ohad from Israel – 2 July 2025 (10/10)
Very spacious, the air conditioning worked wonderfully.
Very good – Asia from Italy – 27 March 2025 (8/10)
I really enjoyed the location and the fact that it was so quiet. I didn’t like the staff that much, they misunderstood my name and let us waiting for 1 hour outside the property
Nice place to stay – Māris from Latvia – 25 March 2025 (9/10)
Very good location and everything was ok
Nice apartment, poor customer service – Ian from United Kingdom – 13 February 2025 (5/10)
Nice apartment in a bustling area
What could be improved: The check in procedure was rubbish, asked what time we would arrive for a 'check in appointment' no prior warning that they were very inflexible timing wise. Of course when you're flying from another country that's often out of your hands. Resulted in us being told that we'd have to hang around in the rain for 1hr outside the apartment because they were too busy… Apparently it's Italian law and my fault for being late but seems like it's your problem for not having staff available and not making it clear in the days before arrival.
Oh and our car was towed because theres no safe parking nearbyA pretty central accommodation with great aircon and in a secure building. – Matthew from United Kingdom – 11 July 2024 (7/10)
The property felt safe & secure with 3 keys needed to access the property from the street. It feels pretty spacious inside given the very high ceilings and is a good size for a couple. The bathroom was OK (although had a broken toilet seat) and the shower worked fine and got hot quickly (almost too hot!). The aircon in the property (1x in Bedroom & 1x in living room) was fantastic and cooled down the rooms very quickly. The Wi-Fi worked fine and had adequate speed for general web browsing (Around 20mbps).
Although having to communicate with the host via telephone to arrange to meet them to receive the keys was inconvenient compared to a key-box entry, they let us check in almost 3 hours early for free – it is worth messaging on the morning to see if they have availability. This was greatly appreciated as we had ladened in on an early morning flight.
The property is a 1 minute walk from a bus route which can get you into the centre pretty quickly, (number 43) as well as about a 6 minute walk from the Tram (number 10), and a 12 minute walk to the nearest Underground Metro station. On the whole it is quite well connected, although we did find the busses very unreliable so I would opt for the metro station.
What could be improved: The kitchen was not equipped with what was listed. There was no toaster & a poor selection of glasses. There was no where to dry the washing up & there were no kitchen towels to dry up. There were some essentials missing like kitchen roll, a bottle/wine opener & sugar etc.
The television is locked to the Italian language and has no TV Channels set-up, with the ability to scan for channels locked too, so essentially it is useless.
The lighting in the property was poor, some lights were broken and in general without opening the window shutters it is quite a dark space.Nice Stay – Atieh from Canada – 16 October 2023 (8/10)
Very good location. Easy access to many bus and metro routes.
Very clean and nice interior.
The staff were patient as our flight got delayed and we checked in late.
What could be improved: Not much kitchenware to do cooking or to have a small breakfast.Beautiful comfortable apartment on a quiet street, a bit far from main attractions – Heidi from Finland – 4 September 2023 (9/10)
Really nice and comfortable apartment: The apartment looks beautiful and was really comfortable to stay there. It had everything we needed.
Quiet place to stay: The aparment is located on a small and quiet road in Chinatown, not far from the main pedestrian road which was nice to visit at evenings. There isn't much traffic past the apartment, and no big noise from the restaurants nearby during our stay, so really quiet at night.
What could be improved: Location: It's a bit far from the main sights but it didn't bother us too much.
Few small oddities with the apartment: You enter directly to kitchen, with no place to put shoes/jackets/umbrella. The apartment rules say that you need to separate trashes but we found no instructions on which need to be separated. Host didn't mention either. The toilet was a bit broken but you could still use it.Very good – Elena from United Kingdom – 13 June 2023 (8/10)
it was very homey and comfortable.
The AC in this weather was a blessing
What could be improved: it would have been good to have a kitchen towel.
