The four-star rating here actually means something. My room was spacious in a way that surprised me — Milan isn’t exactly known for generous square footage. The kitchenette setup is practical if you want to grab groceries from the Esselunga down the street and save some euros. Everything feels modern but not cold, and the beds are genuinely comfortable. The air conditioning works properly too, which you’ll appreciate during those sticky summer months.

Breakfast here is solid — nothing revolutionary, but they do fresh pastries and decent coffee, which is really all you need before heading out to explore. The staff actually remembers your face after a couple days, which is rare in a city hotel. Parking is available if you’re brave enough to drive in Milan (though honestly, you don’t need a car here). The whole place runs smoothly without making you feel like you’re staying in some corporate machine.

You know what makes this place work? It gives you that authentic Milan experience without the headaches. The neighborhood feels real — there’s a great aperitivo spot called Bar Centrale just around the corner where locals actually go. You’re close enough to all the major sights but far enough away that you can retreat to something that feels like a proper base. Plus, the value is honest for what you get, which in Milan is saying something. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in and actually live a bit like a Milanese person, even if it’s just for a few days.

  The apartment is modern within an older, traditional city dwelling. It felt quirky and special and was ideal for a small family break to visit Milan. It was very accessible, clean, secure and had all the necessary modern facilities you would hope to have in a good quality apartment.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was a little further away from the cultural centre than we had first anticipated. Especially for walking to and from there, although we felt very safe walking to and from the centre. If we had stayed longer, I’m sure that we would have figured out the local transport options. The air conditioning system was a little noisy at night, so we turned it off. Fortunately the rooms are very, very high and the property is well-shaded, which meant that it didn’t get too warm.

  Our stay was perfect at Dream Suites Milano. The apartment was spacious, clean and very elegant. It was very airy due to the high ceilings so we never felt uncomfortably warm. Air conditioning was working perfectly which was great for the warmer days. The kitchen facililites also had everything you need. Beautiful little courtyard once you go through the external door which leads to the apartments. This felt very safe when returning home in the evening. I would definitely recommend staying here as it's a 5-10 minute to the Metro and then just a couple of stops to the Duomo. What more could you ask for. I'll definitely stay here again in the future.
