First Impressions

When I first walked into Easylife – Milano – Juvara 12 – Città Studi, I’ll be honest — the name’s a bit of a mouthful, but it actually tells you everything you need to know. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Milan’s Città Studi district, and you can feel the student energy buzzing around the neighborhood the moment you step outside. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that’s professional without being stuffy — sort of like a well-designed co-working space, which makes sense given the area.

The Neighborhood Scene

Città Studi is honestly one of those Milan neighborhoods that locals love but tourists often miss. You’re surrounded by universities, which means great coffee bars that stay open late and restaurants that actually care about value for money. I mean, when you’re feeding hungry students, you can’t mess around with overpriced mediocre food, right? The Politecnico di Milano is practically next door, and there’s this constant flow of international students and professors that gives the whole area a cosmopolitan feel without the tourist trap pricing you’ll find closer to the Duomo.

Room Experience

My room was compact but thoughtfully designed — they’ve clearly put effort into maximizing every square meter. The bed was comfortable enough, and I appreciated the decent-sized desk since I actually needed to get some work done. What surprised me was how quiet it stayed despite being on a fairly busy street; the windows do their job well. The bathroom’s modern and clean, though don’t expect a spa experience — this is more about functionality done right.

Getting Around

Here’s where the location really shines — you’ve got the Lambrate station about a 10-minute walk away, which connects you to both the metro and regional trains. I could get to Centrale station in under 15 minutes, and honestly, that’s faster than from some of the “centrally located” hotels I’ve stayed at in Milan. Plus, there’s decent parking in the area if you’re driving, which isn’t something you can say about most of Milan. The neighborhood has this authentic feel where you’re living alongside actual Milanese people rather than just other tourists.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the kind of place you choose for Instagram photos or bragging rights. What it does well is give you a solid base in an interesting part of Milan without breaking the bank. The staff genuinely seems to care about helping guests figure out the city, and I got some great local recommendations that I never would have found on my own. It’s the kind of place that works especially well if you’re in Milan for business, studying, or just want to experience the city from a more local perspective rather than the typical tourist circuit.

  The apartment was very bright and quite spacious! But the main advantage is its high ceiling! It s warm and cosy!
  
  What could be improved: The only thing that went bad concerns the management by Easylife. Starting with the self checkin, in order to reach the keybox, according to the introductions, we had to pass through two gates and two options in our hands. Either to press the intercom button and the staff will open the gate, either contacting a phone number. None of those worked. Thankfully it was a busy hour and other tenants opened the two gates for us. Secondly, the shower cable was broken and we contacted Easylife. Someone came to fix it but they have just put it the other way around instead of putting a new one! Also the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned (I have two deal with some details) and the ceiling lights were hanging out, with their cables and connectors exposed.

  APARTAMENT wspaniale przygotowany na gości 🙂 WIELKI POZYTYW za czystość ! wspaniała pościel i ręczniki , kuchnia wyposażona we wszystko co niezbędne do przygotowania śniadanka w apartamencie 🙂 Bardzo duża ilość szaf . Lokalizacja wspaniała , blisko do każdej komunikacji po Mediolanie ! Mój pobyt z córką w apartamencie jak i w Mediolanie był niezwykły 🙂 Dziękujemy gospodarzom / będziemy polecać Wasz apartament 🙂
