The building itself has that classic Milanese residential feel, which I actually prefer to some of the flashier hotel facades you see around the city center.

Location & Getting Around

Via Giuseppe Marcora might not ring a bell, but trust me, you’re perfectly positioned here. You’re in the Milan City Centre zone, which means the Duomo is totally walkable — I’m talking maybe 15 minutes on foot through some really nice streets. What I love about this area is that you’re close enough to all the main attractions, but you’re not dealing with the constant tourist crowds right outside your door. The metro connections nearby make it super easy to hop around the city.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star — clean, functional, and surprisingly quiet for being so central. The furnishings are modern but not trying too hard to be trendy, which actually works well. You’ve got good WiFi, decent air conditioning (essential in Milan summers), and the bathroom was recently updated. It’s not going to win any design awards, but honestly, when you’re spending your days exploring Milan, you just need somewhere comfortable to crash.

Practical Perks

What really works about Easylife is how they handle the basics without any fuss. Check-in was smooth, the staff speaks solid English, and they’re genuinely helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. I mean, they clearly know their neighborhood well and aren’t just reciting generic tourist advice. The building has a small elevator — which you’ll appreciate after walking around Milan all day — and everything feels well-maintained without being overly polished.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the place for Instagram-worthy lobby shots or elaborate amenities, but that’s actually the point. You’re getting solid value in an excellent location, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. The 7.5 rating makes sense — it’s doing everything right without any major surprises, good or bad. If you want to experience Milan rather than your hotel, and you don’t want to blow your budget on accommodation, this is honestly a smart choice. Plus, you’ll have more money left over for all that amazing Milanese food and shopping.

  The apartment is actually a lot more spacious than it looks in the photos. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic both for walking to the city center,brera,etc and for catching a train or subway. Because it’s close to both the central station and Repubblica station we could get trains to Salone di mobile ( which are much faster than the subway) and to the various airports. We read some negative comments about the comfort of the beds and some other amenities – we were happy with everything, my only advice would be to being ear plugs because the location is busy and can be noisy ( most of Milano is this is not specific to this apartment). There’s air conditioning in every room, two irons, ironing board, towels for everyone.

  What could be improved: The apartment above this one flooded and damaged our things. My family and I had to pack up all of our things in the middle of the night with our phone flashlights on because there was no electricity. Our tech and clothes got damaged. We had to get Ubers to be transported to a different hotel and the host said that he would reimburse us. The host has not responded and refuses to give us a refund. I called Booking Customer Service and they said that they are waiting for the host to respond. They have given the host no timeline or consequences. Booking Customer Service was absolutely the worst! They do not care about their customers at all. They did not even reimburse us for the Ubers or for the fact that our stuff got damaged. Do not book through this host or any else on Booking! They have been absolutely no help and it's really disappointing. Do Not Stay Here!!!
