You know what I love about this spot? It’s positioned perfectly for exploring Milan without being stuck in the tourist chaos. Via Torino runs straight toward the cathedral, so you’re literally walking the same route locals take to get to work each morning. The Missori metro stop is right there when your feet get tired, and there’s this little corner café about two doors down that serves proper Italian coffee — the kind where the barista nods approvingly when you order just an espresso.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully laid out, which is pretty much what you’d expect from a well-designed four-star property in central Milan. Everything had its place, and the bed was genuinely comfortable — not just “hotel comfortable” but actually good sleep comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean, with decent water pressure (always a relief in older European buildings). What impressed me was the attention to small details, like proper reading lights and enough outlets for all your devices.

Daily Rhythms

Mornings here feel authentically Milanese. You’ll hear the city waking up through your windows — delivery trucks, early commuters, the distant hum of trams. The staff knows their neighborhood well and can point you toward the best spots for breakfast or aperitivo. I actually ended up spending quite a bit of time just wandering the immediate area, discovering small shops and trattorias that don’t show up in guidebooks but clearly have regular customers who’ve been coming for years.

Why Guests Love It

This place works because it doesn’t try too hard to be something it’s not. It’s a solid, well-run hotel in an excellent location that lets Milan itself be the star attraction. The 8.3 rating makes sense when you experience how smoothly everything operates — from check-in to daily housekeeping to getting recommendations from the front desk. You’re not paying for unnecessary frills, but you’re getting reliability and comfort in a spot where you can actually live like a temporary Milanese resident rather than just another tourist passing through.

  Amazing place. We stayed here 2 nights. The Duomo and metro station are 5 minutes away and the tram station is literally 1 or 2 minutes. Very clean and well equiped. If we come back to Milan 100% we will come back to this apartment.

  What could be improved: It could be better maintained in my opinion. There’s a team line nearby, could feel it passing every time, especially at night. Also, no plugs in the kitchen to use coffee machine/ kettle.

  What could be improved: I liked thé localisation, but the streets were very busy and the noise was unbarable. Thé studio lacks the courtains so it's light durung the nights.

  The location was perfect. Close to everything.
  
  What could be improved: This is me i'm ust been picky. For self-contained apartments, I would have thought there would be tea towels and bin bags as we stayed there 4 nights. Also, no bottle opener or wine bottle opener was available

  The location was great, and surprisingly quite once all the shops closed. It wasn't too small, and having access to a washing machine was nice.
  
  What could be improved: The title of the property is a little misleading as it really doesn't look newly furnished or painted. The headboard had the leather flaking from it, black scuffs all over every wall, the counters were chipped. And while I understand why the water in the shower doesn't stay hot for long, it didn't last long enough for me to wash my hair and body before it got ice cold. Also, it tended to get really hot in the room (even being there in November and the heat not being on) and when we tried to use the AC, the temperature never changed unless we opened the window)

  What could be improved: It was very noisy you could not open the windows. And the room lights were all white, kind of irritating. I asked for some soft bed side lights, they said they would bring the next day, however nothing came although I reminded them.

  The location was excellent, very convenient for shopping & sightseeing, close to Duomo. Bed very comfortable. Very spacious with good storage. WiFi good. Bright & airy, with lovely window doors that open to balcony. Good rainfall shower. Easy instructions from owner & good communication.
  
  What could be improved: It was very noisy, there was a lot of drilling going on from the work being done on the Guess shop downstairs & the lady upstairs walked around at 7.30 AM every morning with heels on a wooden floor, so no lay-ins for me! The bathroom needs a shelf for toiletries. In the kitchen area there is no sponge or tea towel for washing & drying dishes. A Nespresso coffee machine would have been a bonus!
