The room I stayed in was clean and functional — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which honestly matters more than marble countertops. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom had decent water pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in older Milan buildings). The decor is a bit dated, but it’s the kind of dated that feels cozy rather than shabby. Air conditioning worked well during my summer visit, which was a relief.

The staff speaks enough English to help you out, though they’re more comfortable in Italian — which actually adds to the authentic feel of the place. Breakfast is simple but fresh, with proper Italian coffee that’ll wake you up faster than any alarm clock. There’s no fancy spa or business center, but there’s decent WiFi throughout the building. Parking can be arranged, though like everywhere in Milan, it’s not cheap.

  What could be improved: You have to hand the key in every time you leave, when you come back you just state your room number. Not the most secure system

  Overall our stay was quite pleasant. The room was very clean and tidy. The AC was working perfectly and it kept the room in the perfect temperature the whole day. The stuff was extremely friendly no matter the time.
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom was propably the biggest “problem” for us. It was definitely clean but it was extremely small and the shower door was a bit broken so the floor kept getting wet. Also the bed was a bit short and our legs kept hanging off a bit during the sleep, which wasn’t a really annoying thing but definitely something to mention.
