You’ve got the Isola district within walking distance, which means some of the city’s best aperitivo spots are just a stroll away. The metro connections are solid too — Porta Garibaldi station gets you to the Duomo in about fifteen minutes.

Room Essentials

My room was compact but cleverly designed, which seems to be the Italian way of doing things efficiently. The bed was genuinely comfortable — not just “hotel comfortable” but actually good for sleeping. What struck me was how quiet everything was, considering you’re still very much in the city. The bathroom was modern and spotless, though if you’re the type who needs a huge space to spread out all your toiletries, you might need to be strategic about packing.

Morning Routine

Breakfast happens in a bright little space that feels more like a neighborhood café than a hotel dining room. They do the continental thing well — proper Italian coffee (which, let’s be honest, is half the reason to stay anywhere in this country), fresh pastries, and enough variety to fuel whatever you’ve got planned for the day. The staff actually seems to remember your coffee preferences after a day or two, which is a nice touch that bigger hotels often miss.

  The hotel is very clean and housekeeping was excellent, clean sheets and towels every day. The breakfast was good, and there is an amazing nice terace outside where you can eat. The staff was great and kind. The location was very good, a short walk to the nearest metro station, and not too far out of the center. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
  
  What could be improved: The hotel itself is obviously older and could use some renovations, but that didn’t affect our stay at all and despite being old it was still very clean and neat.

  On the first day our room was upgraded from double bedroom to 3 bed – room. We had more space than we originally expected. Location was very good, staff were very helpful and room service was really THE best -10 out of 10.
  
  What could be improved: Breakfast could include more options. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything from other rooms. Our room could have some fixing – e.g. shower head, ceiling, some of the lights.

  The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast had enough variety and quality food. The hygiene level is high, cleaned frequently. The bed was comfortable. The unit had enough space. There are complementary drinks in the room.
  
  What could be improved: There is no trash can in the room. It would be good if the breakfast offered a more varied drink selection, but it still had multiple choices.

  It was very clean, and the staff were really nice and cooperative. The breakfast was great, the room was spacious, and the balcony view was beautiful. There was a problem with the shower, but they solved it after three days. The room matches the photos perfectly.
  
  What could be improved: The heating system adjusts to your preferred temperature, but the fan made us feel chilly. If you're traveling from North America, be sure to bring a power plug converter with a small head, as standard ones do not fit into the outlets here. Additionally, the iron I borrowed from the reception had a sticky substance on it, which ruined one of my shirts.
