Luxury Apartments Fioravanti Overview
First Impressions
Luxury Apartments Fioravanti sits on a quiet residential street in the Sempione district, and honestly, you might walk right past it if you’re not paying attention. The building has that understated Milanese elegance — no flashy signs or doormen, just a clean facade that blends seamlessly with the neighborhood. When I first arrived, I appreciated how it felt more like stepping into someone’s well-appointed home rather than a typical hotel lobby.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s great about Sempione? It’s where actual Milanese people live and work, not just tourists snapping photos. The apartment is about a 15-minute walk to Porta Garibaldi station, which puts you on the metro lines that’ll get you anywhere in Milan pretty quickly. There’s a decent supermarket just around the corner on Via Borsieri, and I found a fantastic little bakery two blocks down that does proper cornetti — the kind locals queue for at 7 AM.
The Space
This four-star property really delivers on the “apartment” part of its name. My unit had a proper kitchenette with everything you’d actually need — not just a mini-fridge and a broken coffee maker like some places. The room itself was spacious by Milan standards, with high ceilings and these lovely wooden floors that creaked just slightly when you walked around at night. I mean, it’s not brand new, but everything worked perfectly and felt well-maintained.
Practical Matters
The staff here operates more like a small residential building than a big hotel, which I actually preferred. They’re around when you need them but not hovering constantly. Parking can be arranged if you’re driving, though honestly, you won’t need a car in this part of the city. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay — important when you’re trying to navigate Milan’s somewhat confusing public transport apps from your phone.
Why Guests Love It
What struck me most was how this place gives you a real sense of living in Milan, even for just a few days. You’re not in the touristy center where everything costs double, but you’re not stuck in some soulless business district either. The Sempione area has this perfect balance — close enough to reach the Duomo or Navigli when you want that classic Milan experience, but far enough away that you can grab groceries and cook dinner without breaking the bank. It’s the kind of place where you actually feel like you’re getting under the city’s skin rather than just skimming the surface.
