The Duomo is maybe a 10-minute walk, but you know what’s even better? There’s this incredible pasticceria two blocks away that the neighbors line up at every morning. You’ll stumble upon it, trust me.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment setup is what makes this three-star place punch above its weight. You get a proper kitchen — not some mini-fridge situation, but actual counter space where you can spread out your morning coffee and pastries from the market. The room feels lived-in but polished, with those shuttered windows that let you control exactly how much Milan morning light streams in. I mean, after walking around the fashion district all day, having your own space to decompress feels pretty perfect.

Neighborhood Discoveries

What surprised me most was how residential this area feels once you step off the main drags. There’s a little trattoria around the corner where the owner’s mom still makes the tortellini — the kind of place you’d never find unless you were staying right here. The whole Brera district is walkable from here, and honestly, some of the best aperitivo spots are just stumbling distance away. Parking can be tricky (this is central Milan, after all), but the public transport connections are solid.

  There was enough space for 4 people, larger than it looks in the photo, very safe and very stylish.
  
  What could be improved: The bed at the bottom was a bit wobbly because it moves, I would hope you would change it, otherwise everything was fine and it was complete in all aspects.

  The interior of the apartment was beautifully painted. The location was fantastic! Close to M4 metro direct to Linate Airport. Easy walk to the Duomo and shopping. There is a clothes washer in the unit which is great!
  
  What could be improved: There is nothing in the kitchen for coffee, no dish towels or dish soap. It is fine if you go out for every meal but it is not really functional if you plan to eat in the apartment. There was only 2 rolls of toilet paper so we ran out . The sofa bed was broken and we were not able to fix it so my sleeping was very uncomfortable because there was a raised part of the mattress in the middle of the bed. If you are not planning on using the sofa bed, the other bed was great.

  Checkin process was kinda easy, host was available via WhatsUp all the time. The appartment is in nice location in 5-7 minutes from the Duomo. There was a grocery store right on the corner, which was super also 🙂
  
  What could be improved: There was a lot of dust under the beds, they probably hadn't cleaned there for a long time. They provided very little soap for 4 people, but these are all minor things.

  The apartment was very charming and spacious and very close to the city center. There's a great supermarket nearby as well.
  
  What could be improved: Some items that I find necessary we're missing: kitchen sponge, kitchen towel, salt. Also there is no curtain on the window above the toilet which I found uncomfortable. The neighbours upstairs we're a bit loud in the early mornings, a lot of stomping but that could be because of the way the ceiling is built…

  Overall, the impression is positive, a clean pleasant area, walking distance to the main attractions, a nice apartment, the apartment is warm.
  
  What could be improved: The very narrow door to the apartment is like a closet, half of it is blocked, you had to enter sideways even with a very thin build. I would like to see more attention from the landlord to the guests: knowing that we are arriving in the evening and we will not have the opportunity to buy groceries at the supermarket, it would be nice to see at least a couple of capsules with coffee on the first morning.
