The ceilings are higher than you’d expect, and there’s decent natural light if you get one facing the street. Don’t expect anything fancy, but everything works properly, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve tried. The beds are comfortable enough, and the bathroom is compact but well-designed.

Breakfast is pretty standard Italian fare — good coffee, pastries, and the basics to get you going. Nothing revolutionary, but it does the job and saves you from hunting around first thing in the morning. The staff speaks enough English to help with directions and recommendations, though they seem genuinely pleased when you attempt a few Italian phrases. You know what really impressed me? They actually know the neighborhood well and can point you toward the good local spots.

This place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a solid, no-nonsense base for exploring Milan without the premium you’d pay closer to the center.   Property provided everything needed such as kitchen utensils and toiletries. Owner was very patient as we were slightly late to check out. Really appreciate it.
