It’s one of those four-star places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with marble lobbies or fancy chandeliers — instead, it focuses on giving you exactly what you need for a comfortable stay. The staff actually knows what they’re doing, and there’s this refreshingly no-nonsense approach to hospitality that I really appreciated.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what’s great about Via Spagnoletto — you’re in this sweet spot between the business district and residential Milan that most tourists never discover. The Fiera Milano City Life area has transformed completely over the past few years, and honestly, it’s become one of my favorite parts of the city. You’ve got the stunning Bosco Verticale towers just a short walk away, plus some excellent local spots for aperitivo that aren’t crawling with tourists. The metro connection is solid too, so getting to the Duomo or navigating anywhere in the city is actually pretty straightforward.

The Apartment Experience

What sets this place apart is the apartment-style setup — each unit feels like you’re staying in a friend’s well-appointed flat rather than a standard hotel room. The kitchenette is properly equipped (not just for show), which means you can actually prepare meals if you want to save some euros or just enjoy those amazing ingredients from the local markets. I mean, the counter space is limited, but it’s functional enough for brewing proper coffee in the morning or putting together a simple dinner.

Practical Details

The building itself is modern and well-maintained, with reliable WiFi throughout — something that shouldn’t be remarkable but sometimes is in Milan. There’s parking available, which is honestly a godsend if you’re driving in this city (though I’d still recommend taking public transport downtown). The soundproofing is decent, considering you’re in an urban area, and the air conditioning actually works effectively during those sweltering summer months when Milan can feel like a sauna.

  The location was splendid for accessing downtown Milan (centre) and the street was quiet, no noise at all. The amenities were superb, the refrigerator stocked with beverage treats was a nice gesture. During the 6 days, we ran out of clean towels and I made a request for another set for my wife and I and it was immediately satisfied, we were most pleased. The Air Conditioning ran nicely during the heat wave we experienced in Milan, and it was quiet, too. The mattress and pillows were comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: The TV had only Italian as the language option, as we are bilingual Spanish/English speakers, it was challenging to follow movies and TV programs.

  Location was great. Easy to get to from out of town and easy enough to get in to the centre or the San Siro (M1 and 16 tram). Average Pizzeria just up the road, but turn right out of the apartment and there are lots of other choices.
  Supermarket a short walk too.
  Just down the road there is a covered parking garage (you have to leave your keys – we booked through Parclick)
  
  What could be improved: Our only criticisms would be :
  a kettle is provided but no proper cups. Who likes tea or coffee in paper cups? And then there were only 4 paper cups and we were there 3 nights.
  Also, a couple of glasses for juice, or water would make a big difference. There is a fridge (difficult to open if you have fat fingers) but again, if you buy some juice from the supermarket you have to re-use the paper cups, buy more paper cups or drink from the carton.
  And 2 coffee capsules. I know it's an apartment but there could have been 2 per night…

  It was wonderful. Clean as it should be. Close to Amendola metro, tram, bus, maximum 5 minutes. Super ok staff, don't bother you. we were lucky and had a little yard. everything was superlative, the bed was extremely comfortable. I highly recommend and we will be back soon.
