You can walk to the Porta Genova metro station in about eight minutes, which gets you to the Duomo in no time.

Each room here feels like a small apartment — they’ve got this modern, minimalist thing going that actually works. The floors are polished concrete (very Milan), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What impressed me most was the attention to storage — proper closets, not just a rail hanging in the corner. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed, with good water pressure and those little touches that show someone was thinking about what guests actually need.

Neighborhood Life

Honestly, staying here gives you a different view of Milan than if you were camped out near the cathedral. The Navigli area comes alive at night — aperitivo culture is serious business around here, and there’s this whole network of bars and restaurants along the canals that locals have been frequenting for years. During the day, it’s quieter, more residential. You’ll see people walking their dogs, kids heading to school, the rhythm of a real neighborhood rather than a tourist zone.

  Great location really close to restaurants, bars, shops and interesting sights. The area felt safe with a lot of people around. The apartment was in a secure compound.
