The Porta Venezia area has this authentic neighborhood feel that tourist-heavy zones like Duomo just don’t have. You can walk to the Giardini Pubblici in about ten minutes, and there’s this fantastic local market on Via Tadino that most visitors never discover.

The Neighborhood Vibe

What really sold me on this area is how it feels genuinely Milanese. You’ve got proper cafés where locals actually go for their morning cappuccino, not just tourist traps with overpriced paninis. The aperitivo scene around here is fantastic too — there’s this wine bar called N’Ombra de Vin that’s become my go-to spot, just a short walk away. Plus, you’re perfectly positioned to explore both the business district and the more creative Navigli area without feeling stuck in either.

  The pictures perfectly match the actual place, everything looks exactly as shown! The location is amazing, literally just beside the main building and only 2–3 metro stops away from the Duomo.   Spotlessly clean. Beautifully and stylishly furnished. Very well equipped. Lots of extra touches, such as a fresh bowl of fruit (of high quality).

  The pictures dont do it justice. This apartment was a 5 star find. Absolutely stunning! The beds and bedding really good quality, had a fantastic sleep. The amenities in the bathroom are of such good quality! (We found Culti and bought loads). There was prosecco, fruit, water, tea, coffee, biscuits! These touches were greatly appreciated. Alina is a super host and I appreciated she met me in person (even after I was 20mins later than planned). The amount of local information provided was excellent and thanks for the recommendations for eating out! Will definitely stay again

  The apartment is spacious and stylishly furnished, located in a convenient location 1-2 minutes walk from a main metro line stop, from where you can easily and conveniently reach all parts of the city / in 10 minutes to the Milan Cathedral /. There is a bakery nearby for a delicious start to the day. The apartment is clean and smells of freshness, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, such as a coffee machine, iron, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobes, even toothbrushes are available. We highly appreciate that we were greeted personally by the extremely kind hostess Alina, who showed care and attention by leaving us a list of good restaurants in the city, a bowl of fruit and a bottle of chilled Prosecco. We sincerely thank Alina for the warm welcome! We highly recommend choosing this apartment for your stay in Milan!

  Our stay was in one word magnifique. I recommend everyone to stay here when visiting Milano. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated and luxurious, very nicely located and fully equipped for everything you could want (washing machine, hairdryer, dishwasher, iron, bathrobes, toothbrushes, air-conditioning, a very comfortable bed, coffee, tea, cooking oil, fully equipped kitchen, etc). The host Alina was super friendly, and had fresh fruit and a bottle of chilled Prosecco ready for us when we checked in. She also had a map full of recommendations for restaurants and activities in Milano. Our recommendation if you stay here: get your breakfast at bakery Pavé and eat it on the balcony with a great view on the Piazza, it's less than a 5 minute walk, and the food is delicious!
