You’re basically in the heart of everything here, which is pretty remarkable for a place that feels so tucked away. The Duomo is maybe a 10-minute walk — I actually timed it one morning — and you can easily reach the Navigli district on foot when you want that evening aperitivo scene. What I really appreciated was how the neighborhood itself felt authentically Milanese, not touristy at all. There’s a fantastic little café just around the corner where locals grab their morning espresso, and honestly, that’s worth knowing about.

The Space

My room was compact but thoughtfully designed, with everything you actually need and nothing you don’t. The beds are comfortable — not fancy, but I slept well every night — and there’s decent storage space for your things. The kitchenette setup is quite clever if you’re staying for a few days; I mean, having your own coffee in the morning without hunting for an open café is pretty nice. The whole place has this clean, minimalist vibe that works well when you’re spending most of your time exploring the city anyway.

Practical Touches

What really impressed me was how well everything functioned. The Wi-Fi actually works properly (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and the air conditioning kept things comfortable during my summer visit. The building itself is quiet — surprisingly so, given that you’re right in the city center. I never had issues with noise from other guests or the street below, which made a real difference after long days of walking around Milan’s cobblestone streets.
