Suite Brera Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Suite Brera feels like stepping into someone’s stylish Milanese apartment rather than a typical hotel lobby. The entrance is understated — you might actually walk past it if you’re not paying attention — but that’s part of its charm. This three-star property sits right on Via Brera, which means you’re literally in the heart of one of Milan‘s most artistic neighborhoods, surrounded by galleries and those narrow cobblestone streets that make you feel like you’re in a movie.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying here: you’re a two-minute walk from the Pinacoteca di Brera, and honestly, the whole area feels like an outdoor museum. The street life is incredible — locals grabbing their morning espresso, art students sketching in doorways, and those tiny aperitivo bars that don’t even have signs. You know what’s really convenient? La Scala is just a ten-minute stroll away, and the Duomo is close enough that you can pop over whenever you want without planning your whole day around it.
The Suite Experience
The room I stayed in was more like a mini-apartment, which makes sense given the name. There’s actually a separate sitting area with a small kitchenette — nothing fancy, but enough to make a proper coffee or store some groceries from the market down the street. The decor walks this nice line between contemporary and classic Italian style, with clean lines but warm touches that keep it from feeling sterile.
Daily Rhythms
Breakfast happens in a cozy little space that feels more like a neighborhood café than a hotel dining room. The spread isn’t huge, but everything’s fresh — proper Italian pastries, decent coffee, and they actually have local cheeses that change depending on what’s good that week. The staff here genuinely seems to know the area well; they gave me directions to a fantastic restaurant tucked away on a side street that I never would have found otherwise.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets Suite Brera apart is how it lets you live like a local rather than just visit as a tourist. The building has character — you can tell it’s been here for decades — but the renovations are thoughtful and modern. Parking can be tricky in this area (it’s Milan city center, after all), but there’s a garage nearby, and honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re here. The location means you’re walking to everything that matters, from shopping on Via Montenapoleone to discovering those hidden courtyards that make Brera special. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself coming back to the same local spots by the end of your stay.

Reviews of Suite Brera
Superb – Sandra from Switzerland – 27 October 2025 (9/10)
Super Lage, schöner Balkon, gute Einrichtung
What could be improved: Es war extrem lärmig die ganze NachtIf you don't mind loud noise, then this is the spot! – Lori from United States – 23 September 2025 (10/10)
Perfect walking location, breakfast was great, suite was beautiful.
What could be improved: I personally didn't mind it.. but it was really loud every minute of the day a lot going on it's a popular spot..1st Milan visit – Massimo from Canada – 8 September 2025 (3/10)
The suite was very nice and charming. Good size and lots of space. Great location near the Galleria and Duomo. Many restaurants and shops in the area so lots of places to choose from. The host was nice and the breakfast was OK.
What could be improved: I did not like the fact that they had loud music all night for two nights in a row. The suite is right on top of the bar and seriously no sleep for two nights out of three. The first night they decided to do repairs in the middle of the night, so the music stopped, and hammering and drilling started. Better planning should have been considered if you have a guest.
I travel a lot and stay and many B&Bs where they come and clean and provide clean towels. My suite was not cleaned and no fresh towels were provided during the 3 nights.
They certainly need to add a disclaimer around the loud music,Exceptional – Karin from Austria – 26 July 2025 (10/10)
Mitten im Stadtteil Brera, Zentrale Lage, alles sehr unkompliziert, sehr liebe Menschen und immer wieder eine Reise wert.
Exceptional – Luke from Australia – 24 July 2025 (10/10)
Very spacious, clean and centrally located apartment, highly recommend.
Piękny, przestronny apartament stanowiący idealną bazę wypadową do zwiedzenia Mediolanu. – Marek from Poland – 22 July 2025 (10/10)
Istnieje możliwość zamówienia drinka i zabrania go do apartamentu aby wypić go w kameralnej atmosferze.
– Richard from Netherlands – 18 July 2025 (8/10)
Prima locatie.
Good – Joseph from United Kingdom – 2 July 2025 (9/10)
Location was great suite was very good
A beautiful appartment close to restaurants an bars. We loved the location but unfortunately we slept really really bad – Cally from Switzerland – 12 May 2025 (5/10)
Very beautiful and big appartment.
What could be improved: There was loud music from the bars around until 4 o’clock in the morning. Super loud and almost impossible to sleep.Very noisy, not good for sleeping – Abbie from United Kingdom – 10 May 2025 (5/10)
Apartment was very spacious and clean.
In the centre of Brera.
What could be improved: The apartment is directly above Bar Brera.
The music was constant until 2am, the noise continued until 3:30am whilst they were cleaning.
Constant banging and noise.
The noise then started again at 7am in preparation for them opening. We tried to shut the window shutter to keep out some noise, but this didn’t work.
We came away for a relaxing few days to only have a few hours sleep the nights we were there.
Would not recommend to anyone wanting to relax and have a good sleep.
Also upon arrival, the notes state to go into Bar Brera to collect the key, which we did to be told not here.
After attempting to phone the number on the booking for 20 minutes, I finally got through to them and someone came out to hand us the key.
We never received breakfast vouchers and no explanation how to get breakfast or what was in offer, having to eat elsewhere each day.
