Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I really appreciate: you’re right by the Maciachini metro stop on the green line, which means you can reach the Duomo in about 15 minutes without dealing with Milan’s chaotic traffic. The neighborhood itself is pretty authentic — not touristy at all, just regular Milanese life happening around you. There’s a fantastic local market just down the street where I grabbed the best peaches I’ve had in years, and honestly, that’s the kind of detail that makes a trip memorable.

The Space

Each room here is set up more like a studio apartment, and I mean that in the best possible way. You’ve got a proper kitchenette (not just a mini-fridge situation), which saved me a fortune on breakfast and late-night snacks. The design is clean and modern without being cold — think Scandinavian minimalism but with Italian warmth. Actually, the bed was one of those where I kept hitting snooze because it was just too comfortable to leave.

What Makes It Special

You know what really impressed me? The attention to small things that matter when you’re traveling. There’s decent water pressure in the shower, the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the space, and they’ve got parking available — which, if you’ve ever tried to park in Milan, you’ll know is basically a miracle. The staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you’re sorted, not just going through the motions.

  The location is good, close to the tram or subway stations. It is easy to travel to city center or to the central train station. The room is enough for a short stay. Actually, it has everything you need for the trip. I love that the landlord prepared a lot of drinks and snacks. I would love to come back again next time in Milan.
  
  What could be improved: I found thin curtains are quite usual for this region. Eye mask is strongly suggested if needed.

  The location is perfect (you can easily take a tram or metro line to the city center) and the apartment in itself was more than perfect to accommodate us (wife and I).   Really great place, everything is taken care if – one time toothbrush, slippers, the best memory foam pillows ever, all the toiletries, complimentary drinks and snacks. They offer free lugguage storage. So we saved 36 eur, as at the train station they charge 12 eur per bag. The host provided extensive instructions and recommendations of what to do and where to go in Milano. Located very close to Metro.

  The studio room is excellent and convenient. It has everything you need for a short stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the pull out bed was also comfortable and not a problem at all. The location is convenient to walk to the Isola district which has good option of restaurants and there is also a Lidl close by. The host was very accommodating and went out of the way to help us. He arranged for luggage storage and also allowed us to check in early.
  
  What could be improved: The WiFi was poor at times and the location didn’t seem amazing to walk alone as a girl at night.

  I highly recommend this apartment. The accommodation is new, clean, you will find everything you need, even small details that we appreciated. The space is thought out in detail. It´s near Maciachini metro station. Communication with Lorenzo is great, he gives advice, he cares that you have a good time in his apartment. I will definitely come back here when visiting Milan. We loved our trip to Milano. ♥
